Job Summary
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s travel and tour services. The role requires a proactive individual with strong sales, negotiation, and market analysis skills within the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate clients, group travel, partnerships, and institutions)
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Promote travel packages, tour services, visa assistance, and corporate travel solutions
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients
Negotiate contracts and close business deals
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to generate leads
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
Minimum of 2–4 years experience in business development, sales, or travel/tourism
Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
