Job Title: ICT Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a reputable school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students computer and information technology skills, developing engaging lessons, and helping learners build practical digital competencies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons appropriate to students’ age and learning levels.
2. Teach fundamental computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet use.
3. Introduce students to digital literacy and other relevant ICT concepts where applicable.
4. Conduct practical computer lessons and guide students in using ICT equipment effectively.
5. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, tests, and examinations.
6. Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
7. Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and attendance.
8. Encourage responsible, safe, and ethical use of technology and the internet.
9. Troubleshoot basic computer and software issues during practical lessons.
10. Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
11. Stay updated on emerging technology and modern teaching methods.
12. Work collaboratively with other teachers, school management, and parents when necessary.
13. Perform other teaching-related duties assigned by school management.
Requirements
1. Minimum of Diploma, HND, or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
2. Teaching experience, preferably in a basic school environment.
3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
4. Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
6. Patience, creativity, professionalism, and a passion for teaching.
7. Applicants with relevant teaching certification or experience will have an advantage.
