The Teaching Supervisor is responsible for overseeing instructional staff, ensuring high-quality teaching standards, supporting curriculum delivery, and improving overall academic performance. The role involves mentoring teachers, monitoring classroom activities, and driving continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Supervision
* Observe classroom teaching and assess instructional effectiveness
* Ensure lesson plans align with the approved curriculum
* Monitor adherence to teaching standards and school policies
* Conduct regular classroom evaluations and provide feedback
2. Teacher Support & Development
* Mentor and coach teachers to improve performance
* Identify training needs and organize professional development sessions
* Support new teachers with onboarding and classroom management techniques
* Promote innovative and student-centered teaching methods
3. Curriculum Implementation
* Ensure proper execution of curriculum and academic programs
* Review teaching materials and instructional resources
* Collaborate with management to improve curriculum delivery
4. Performance Management
* Evaluate teachers’ performance through appraisals and reports
* Set performance targets and monitor progress
* Address underperformance and implement improvement plans
5. Student Performance Monitoring
* Analyze student results and academic trends
* Work with teachers to improve learning outcomes
* Ensure proper assessment and grading practices
6. Administrative Duties
* Prepare reports on teaching quality and academic progress
* Assist in timetable planning and workload distribution
* Participate in academic meetings and strategic planning
7. Compliance & Discipline
* Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards
* Maintain discipline among teaching staff
* Address complaints related to teaching and learning

Qualifications & Requirements
* SHS/Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Education
* Minimum of 1-2 years teaching experience (supervisory experience is an advantage)
* Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and teaching methodologies
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
