WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, coordinating the receipt and dispatch of goods, and ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
2. Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
4. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when necessary.
5. Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff to ensure high productivity.
6. Ensure goods are properly stored, labelled, handled, and organized.
7. Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
8. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.
9. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, security, and operational procedures.
10. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
11. Prepare regular reports on inventory, warehouse activities, stock movement, and performance.
12. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and cost management.
13. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 2+ years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
4. Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to supervise and motivate a warehouse team.
6. Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory/warehouse management systems.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Knowledge of health and safety standards in warehouse operations is an advantage.
